Located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage colonial city, Hotel Camino Real Antigua is renowned for its lush courtyards, Spanish colonial architecture, and impeccable service. Our goal was to comprehensively modernize its digital ecosystem to reflect the property's timeless charm while optimizing the funnel for direct room bookings, romantic packages, and destination event inquiries.
La Antigua Guatemala is one of Central America's most competitive hospitality and destination wedding markets. The hotel needed a digital platform that immediately communicated its scale and distinction—highlighting 86 Deluxe rooms, two-story loft-style Virrey Suites, 250 m² Royal Suites, on-site fine dining, and private parking—without losing the intimate, artisanal warmth of its colonial architecture.
We structured the information architecture around the hotel's core commercial drivers: an above-the-fold booking bar, curated package showcases ("Escápate a La Antigua" and "Romance Real"), an immersive tour of its three accommodation tiers (Deluxe, Virrey Suite, and Royal Suite), the culinary experience at Las Velas Restaurant, and its full-service Banquet & Event division.
We designed and developed a bilingual (Spanish / English) web experience anchored by high-definition hero video capturing the hotel's fountains, gardens, and cuisine. We integrated interactive galleries for accommodations and events (Weddings, Social Gatherings, Graduations, and Corporate Conventions), live verified Google review feeds, and direct integration with the booking engine and WhatsApp concierge.
The new portal reinforces Hotel Camino Real Antigua's digital leadership as the premier luxury property in the colonial city. Seamless navigation across stay packages, suites, and banquet venues increased conversion into the direct booking engine and accelerated lead generation for destination weddings and corporate events.
